What gift box sizes are available?
We offer the Artisan’s Choice Gift Box in three sizes to suit your appetite or gift-giving plans:
- Small (3 lbs): Includes 4–6 petite Asian Pears.
- Medium (5 lbs): Includes 5–7 medium-sized Asian Pears.
- Large (9 lbs): Includes 9–18 Asian Pears in a range of sizes, from petite to large.

What varieties can I choose from?
Artisan’s Choice varieties are determined by seasonal availability and our orchard team’s expert assessment of the fruits’ peak ripeness and flavor. If your selection of a box size and variety shows that it is out of stock, be sure to join our email list to get updates on new varieties as they’re added throughout the season.

How are the pears packed for shipping?
Each Subarashii Kudamono Asian Pear is carefully hand-wrapped and packed by our team in custom-designed, padded boxes to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. When your gift recipient opens their box, they’ll be greeted with our traditional presentation—each pear as beautiful and flawless as the day it was picked. It guarantees that the experience of receiving Subarashii Kudamono is as extraordinary as the fruit itself.
How do I keep my pears fresh?
Once you receive your box of Subarashii Kudamono Asian Pears, unwrap them and store them in your crisper drawer. When kept chilled, your pears will stay perfectly ripe for a month or more.
Varieties
AnaSan Asian Pear
Flavor profile: Warm cinnamon, honeycomb, and simple syrup sweetness.
Texture: Juicy and tender with a soft bite. Reminiscent of the flesh of a perfectly ripe melon.
Pair with: Roasted and salted Marcona almonds, green olives, aged gouda, a chilled vodka martini.

AsaJu Asian Pear

Do you ship fresh fruit to California?
No, unfortunately due to current agricultural regulations we are not able to accept and ship fresh fruit orders to California at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience.
However, we are able to ship our pantry items to California so you can still share in the tastes of our orchard!
