How do I use the ingredients in The Chef Box?
Our Aged Asian Pear Vinegar adds depth to dressings and marinades, while our Asian Pear Spread pairs beautifully with cured meats and good bread. Dried Pears pair well with any cheese, and make a wonderful addition to baked goods.

 

How are the pears packed for shipping?

Fresh pears in the Chef Box are first carefully wrapped in foam sox, then nestled into a sturdy cardboard sleeve, designed to prevent bruising or damage. To add an extra touch of care, the Chef Box is filled with decorative shred, providing additional cushioning for the wonderful ingredients inside.

 

How do I keep my pears fresh?

Once you receive your box of Subarashii Kudamono Asian Pears, unwrap them and store them in your crisper drawer. When kept chilled, your pears will stay perfectly ripe for up to a month.

Do you ship fresh fruit to California?

No, unfortunately due to current agricultural regulations we are not able to accept and ship fresh fruit orders to California at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience.

However, we are able to ship our pantry items to California so you can still share in the tastes of our orchard!
