This fresh, no-fuss appetizer pairs crisp slices of Subarashii Kudamono Asian Pear with a creamy spread of blue cheese, ricotta, and toasted walnuts. It’s a bold yet balanced bite—cool, savory, and just sweet enough—ideal for effortless entertaining or a quietly elegant start to any gathering.
Makes 4 servings (about 7 slices per serving).
1 large Subarashii Kudamono Asian Pear (8 ounces)
¼ cup crumbled blue cheese
¼ cup part-skim ricotta cheese
2 Tbsp. finely chopped toasted walnuts
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cut the pear in quarters through the stem end. Lay the quarters, one cut side down, on a work surface. Cut each quarter into a ¼ inch thick slices. Arrange on a serving plate
