Fresh pears may be out of season, but creativity is always in season. This year, we’re inviting you to cook with Subarashii Kudamono Asian Pear Pantry Products—from dried Asian pears to pear-based vinegars and spreads.

    Winners will receive a redemption code to use toward Subarashii Kudamono gift boxes, allowing you to choose the timing that works best for you—including the opportunity to enjoy fresh fruit when it’s in season.     Entries are open now - April 30, 2026, and winners will be announced in June 2026.

    In addition to prizes, selected entries may be featured on our website in our recipe collection and blog.

    Judging Criteria

    Recipes will be judged on:

    • Uniqueness of how Subarashii Kudamono pantry products are used
      We’re looking for creative, unexpected, or inspired ways to incorporate our pantry products into your recipe—whether it’s a bold flavor pairing, a new twist on a classic, or a fresh take that highlights their versatility.
    • Creativity and visual appeal of submitted photos or videos
      Entries should showcase your dish in a way that’s visually engaging and appetizing. Thoughtful presentation, lighting, and composition will help bring your recipe to life and demonstrate the care put into your creation.
    • How well the entry captures the essence of the final dish
      Your submission should clearly communicate what makes your dish special, from flavor and texture to inspiration and story. We want to understand not just what you made, but why it works and what makes it memorable.
